I first had lunch at this deli with my older cousin in 1963. The last lunch I had there was about two weeks ago. The same quality soup and sandwich from the family owned business that I recommend to friends and family. Very nice people, and their food is delicious!

This is a neighborhood gem. Italian sandwiches are incredible and they make a mean bacon egg and cheese. Staff is always friendly! EDIT: 6/23 new owners if you’re reading this please don’t change the Italian sub or the German potato salad. Mountainside and Westfield thank you 🙏

Great local place for sandwiches. I stop in for an egg sandwich for breakfast when I'm in the area. And the sloppy joes can't be beat! Friendly people too.

Amazing place! Lukas is very passionate about the food he creates with passion and love. Every single food item I ordered has been DELICIOUS! I go to this place at least once sometimes twice a week.

Hearkening back to simpler times, much of the decor of this neighborhood deli has remained charmingly unchanged as ownership has been in the same family for generations. This is truly a place where the owners and staff will get to know your name. This is a regular stop for our breakfast sandwiches or lunch.

Got a delicious Cuban sandwich on a recent visit. Drove over to Echo Lake Park to enjoy on a beautiful day. Easily could have shared this sandwich with another person! Highly recommend!

Had my first sandwich at the deli today, it was fresh and delicious, definitely recommend trying the updated deli next time you're in town! They have some interesting sandwiches and are very well priced!

I had not visited since the new owners took over! Big mistake! Absolutely the most delicious in house roast beef! And the rye bread was incredible. Such an amazing transformation from the previous owners. Best deli in the area!

The mountainside deli is under new management and it’s better than ever. They have so many new menu options and they’re very delicious. We enjoyed the vegetarian Panini and the pastrami sloppy Joe, which was very authentic to New Jersey and delicious. They also have more fun menu items like tacos now. we got the classic rice pudding and it was perfect. It was all reasonable prices and the new owner is so kind really wonderful service. I’ll be returning.

This deli is an absolute gem! The new ownership has completely transformed the place with an incredible renovation — it looks amazing, super clean, and now even has comfortable seating to enjoy your food. The sandwiches and paninis are outstanding — fresh, flavorful, and made perfectly every time. You can really taste the quality. The new owners are so friendly and welcoming, and the service is top-notch. You feel appreciated the moment you walk in. Definitely a must-try if you’re in the area. Highly recommend!
